1) One thing his doctor said was that my husband has this problem because we live in a moldy climate here in California. As a child he had small patches and then in his mid 20's we moved to Colorado were his eczema went away. Colorado is dry and not moldy. We moved back to CA after 5 years and as soon as he stepped off of the airplane he was itchy and it became progressively worse over a year to where it covered his complete body, he was a wreck only getting maybe 2 hours of sleep a night.

3) I have noticed that being in a large city aggravates my allergies, mostly hayfever and what I call 'gooeye'. I grew up in the 'burbs and was always a walking rash, but never hayfever, until I visited Paris in the summer. My allergies went nuts, and I had horrid congestion and sticky eyes the entire time I was there. Enjoyed every minute of it, though! I now live in the city, but smaller than, say, Chicago or Detroit, and I have year round hayfever.

7) Two years ago I moved from Holland to Northern France to an area with less polution and nearer to the sea . That was supposed to make a difference. Either in the mountains or near the sea. During holidays I tried both and found near(er) the sea the best option. I hoped it would make a difference, but I am still suffering (people who have it will understand that it really IS suffering) from this condition. There has been a little improvement since last year.

9) For my hands, it seems to be triggered by hot+humid climates. My first big breakout was on a trip to Europe 3 years ago (hungary in summer). I recently
got back from Asia and had a nasty reaction over there as well. I live in the Pacific NW, and rarely have trouble here.

away.Well, then I moved to Louisiana and as soon as I got there it got really bad.
