스페인 체미노바사에서 만들어진 이 제품은 유럽의 몇몇 국가에서는 90년도 초반에 금지되었습니다.
물론 스테로이드 때문이었죠.
그리고 90년대 후반에 미국에서도 그랬구요....캐나다도 그렇고....등등...
회사 이름이 다른 경우도 있지만 모회사는 다 위의 회사였습니다.
블루캡을 팔고자 하는 사람들이 이제 새롭게 하는 주장이...
그래서 무슨 부작용이 있었냐는 겁니다.....
그렇다면 솔직히 블루캡을 사용할게 아니라 그냥 1등급 스테로이드 연고를 얼굴이건 어디건 계속 바르면 됩니다.
당장 무슨 부작용??
밑에 뉴스그룹에서 영국에 사는 사람이 자신의 나라에서 블루캡을 살 수 없자 구하는 방법을 가르켜달라면서 쓴 글에 대한 답장입니다.
그리고 거의 10년 전부터 미국등에서 블루캡이니 스킨캡이니 하는 것에 대한 논의가 있었고,
그에 대한 심판은 끝났다고 봅니다.
밑에 미국인들의 글에서 볼 수 있듯이...
사람이 절망적일때는 지푸라기라도 잡고 싶은 심정으로 위 제품을 사용할 수 있을런지 모르겠으나,
그러지 마십시요.....

그들(스페인 블루캡 메이커)이 우리에게 얼마나 많은 거짓말을 했고 지금도 하고 있는지 다 아는 현재 상황에서도 위험을 자처하겠다는겁니까?
블루캡은 스킨캡이예요..같은 케이스에 같은 칼라, 같은 제품이죠.
그들이 다시 거짓말을 하고 있어요. 그 사람들을 믿나요? 전 저에게 거짓말 한 사람들을 믿지 않아요.
특히 강력한 스테로이드와 정상의 두배에 해당하는 약을 하루에 사용해서는 안되는 성분을 숨기는 사람들을요....
By using steriods it'll make it worse in the long run. It'll make it twice
as bad when it rebounds.. so its not really helping you. Its your're choice
... even i use steriods sometimes when i'm desperate but i have scars to
show for it .. and i wish i didnt have them now. Make a wise choice..
possibly try other things. Like Praganos diet, Tazorak, dovenex, a light
steroid, and sun... they take longer time to work but they get it under
control... Steriods never really get it under control they just sweep the
problem under the rug, and all you end up with is more problems 2 fold.

I received an e-mail from "Advanced Alternatives Center"...
they are proud to inform me that only for this month they can sell me skin
cap at a low price.
AAC라는 곳에서 이메일을 받았어요. 그들은 아주 싼 가격에 이번 달 한정으로 스킨캡을 판다고 하더군요.
But I think I read somewhere that this product is dangerous because of
steroids...
I tried it and had some improvement a couple of years ago, but wasn't it
illegal?
그런데 어디선가 이 제품이 스테로이드 때문에 위험하다고 한걸 읽었어요.
몇년전 이 제품을 사용해 효과를 봤었죠. 그러나 그건 불법이 아니었나요?

It was made illegal in some countries because the manufacturer lied
about the presence of steroids, not because of their presence per se.
Steroids are pretty commonly used for P, but because of various side
effect risks it can be harmful to use meds with hidden steroids and
skin cap contained one of the most powerful ones there is. While the
fact that Skin Cap worked better than the steroids alone for many
seemed to be paired with more severe side effects where they occured.

Anyway, so-called skin cap clones have been available all along openly
containing steroids. Of course with Skin Cap itself there's still an
open question about what else was in it and how harmful that is.
어쨌든, 소위 스킨캡 복제품들은 여기저기서 팔리고 있어요, 스테로이드를 포함하구서 말이죠..
물론 스킨캡에 있어서 여전히 논란이 있어요. 대체 그 안에 다른 어떤 성분이 있는지 그리고 그것이 얼마나 위험한 것인지....
Dunno if it's illegal to import skin cap into Italy, but if it was me
I wouldn't touch something from a spammer like this with a 10 foot
pole regardless. If you want to try skin cap, get a prescription to
have a pharmacist compound a clone for you.
스킨캡을 이태리로 수입하는게 불법인지 아닌지에 대해서는 몰라요.
그러나 나같으면 스팸머들로부터의 이런 접근은 거들떠 보지 않을 거예요.

Skin Cap was a wonderful product that was taken off the market by the FDA
because of very few over-reactions by some hysterical paranoid folks.
스킨캡은 대단한 제품입니다만 FDA때문에 시장에서 퇴출되었죠.
그건 좀 정신나간 피해망상자들의 과잉반응때문이었어요.
Unless the product the E-mail referred to has the 'good stuff' in it, don't
waste your money on it. Hopefully the real Skin Cap will come back so it
can benefit us again.
이메일에 언급된 제품안에 좋은 어떤 성분이 없다면 그것에 돈을 낭비하지 마세요.

There's nothing hysterical or paranoid about wanting to avoid steroid use.
Skin Cap not only contained unknown steroids, but also unknown amounts of
those steroids. The manufacturer blatantly lied about the ingredients (they
said the active ingredient was "zinc pyrithione", which has since ben shown
to do very little, and Skin Cap didn't have any zinc pyrithione anyway).
It's a dangerous product pushed by unscrupulous jerks. The FDA doesn't
always get things right, but when they banned Skin Cap, they were right on
target.

thinning skin, easy bruising, and reduction in the skin's immune function.
Topical steroids effectively mask damaged skin, but they don't correct it,
and the side effects aren't worth it.

Now here is the type of response I would expect from one of the hysterical
paranoid folks I spoke of in my previous post. This is the level of
intelligence that can be expected - probably the same kind of thinking
skills that caused some folks to over-use Skin Cap.

Jeez you're a moron. We know SkinCap contained unknown steroids because the
FDA *TESTED* it and found it contained steroids, of which were unfamiliar to
them (meaning they were probably engineered as such, like those that half
the Olympic "athletes" use, also called "designer steroids", which are made
specifically so that testing will not reveal their presence).

Not angry, just amazed anyone could be so foolish as to jeapoardize their
own health and recommend such a course of action to others, by knowingly
using a product with unlisted ingredients in unknown quantities, even after
many of its users filed suit against the parent company responsible for said

So you say. How long did you have your condition? *What* was your condition?
Were you using any other treatments at the time? Is the condition still
present, or is it totally gone? See, there are so many variables involved,
and you're only telling us about one of them, that almost anything could
account for your remission, despite the dangerous (and illegal) product
you've touted as a "cure". And I've got news for you. Those topical steroids
you've been using can actually penetrate far enough into your body to
collect in your organs. Chances are you could be doing damage to yourself
that you're not even aware of. The effect is exactly the same as anabolic
steroids used by bodybuilders and athletes--they look and feel *great* while
they're using them, but as soon as they stop, the steroids' effects
disappear and all the damage they've been doing (organ, joint, connective
tissue) suddenly surfaces along with all the associated pain that the
steroids were masking. May I remind you that promoting the use of illegal
steroids (such as those that SkinCap contains) is not only unethical, but
illegal.

I have used Skin Cap and it worked fast and cleared it up.BUT, it did come
back worse than it has ever been before.This happened to me and someone else
I know.
스킨캡을 사용해왔어, 정말 빠르게 좋아졌고 완전히 깨끗해 졌지. 하지만,,
그전보다 더 악화되고야 말았어.
나한테 이런 일이 생겼고 또 다른 이들에게도 그랬지.
When it was working good, I heard they were going to take it off the
market.So I bought out the one's in town.But I don't dare use it now.After
two years off of Skin Cap, I am starting to get it back under control.

스킨캡이 잘 나갔을때, 제조사가 스킨캡을 시장에서 철수할거라는 소릴 들었지.
그래서 난 그걸 사두었지. 하지만 감히 지금 그걸 사용하지는 않아.
스킨캡을 사용 안한 2년후에서야 난 다시 내 피부를 컨트롤 할 수 있게 되었어.

I think skin cap is back, and I know it works good for the psoriasis (I've used
it) But if you don't mind me giving you some advice on that and read into that.
Skin Cap has risks, like kidney failure, it "eats up" your bones, it'll hurt
you and cause a lot of damage in the long run. That is why doctors don't
prescribe it. But hey, if you want to take that chance, go ahead, I probably
will too, just 'cause it works good and quick.
스킨캡이 다시 컴백한거 같군, 스킨캡이 건선에 좋다는거 알아(나도 사용했었거덩)
괜찮다면 내가 충고하나 하지.
스킨캡은 신장이상등의 위험이 있어. 니 뼈를 먹어치운다고.
너한테 해를 끼칠거야. 장기적으로 엄청난 피해를 일으키지.
그래서 의사들이 그걸 처방해주지 않는거야.
하지만 그런 위험을 감수하겠다면 그렇게 해.

How can you say something like this unless the company that makes this
poison in a can is paying you off? Give us all a break and leave. You
have nothing to offer but misery. William is trying to educate us to
the dangers of using such toxic crap. Some are indeed naive enough to
believe what they read from the likes of you, so thank God for those
like William to remind us of scum sucking leaches with the sole
purpose of pocketing a little dime at the expense of trusting souls.
Keep it up William, you're invaluable to me & I'm sure many other

Actually, Paul, heaping abuse on Warren (WO3) is unlikely to do much.
He's probably used to it by now. And calling Skin-Cap "poison" or "toxic
crap" won't help much, either, since Warren already believes that all of us
who don't love Skin-Cap think of it like that. But it's probably neither a
poison nor toxic, any more than steroids and the other known ingredients
are.

It might come as a shock to you nice folks but I've had P for about 15years
now, just like you do but not so much of it. I've done the same things you
have....visit Dermatologists who don't have any solutions...I own an $800 UV
lamp setup....creams.....all kinds of junk that doesn't do much of anything.
When SK came along and in 3days my skin was clear!!! after 10+ years of
almost zero solutions I was overjoyed. It was truly amazing. I had no
rebounds or negative effects when my supply finally ran out. I haven't used
SK for a few (4?) years now and some patches are still gone ; a patch on one
knee just came back about 6months ago. The only other thing that worked was
coal tar and UVB regimen....what a mess! Moving to Florida has helped keep
it reduced. I do try to get a small dose of sun every other day. I try to
stay relaxed and calm..(retirement is helping too). No I don't make any
money from SK.
너희한텐 좀 충격적일런지 모르겠지만 난 15년간 건선에 시달려왔어. 너희들처럼 말이지. 그렇게 심하지는 않지만 말이야.
너희와 마찬가지로 난도 똑같은 과정을 겪었어. 어떤 치료법도 갖고 있지 않은 피부과의사를 찾아갔지.
그리고 800불짜리 자외선 램프 세트도 사고, 크림도 사고, 별 효과도 없던 수많은 쓰레기들.....
스킨캡을 사용하고 3일만에 내 피부가 깨끗해졌어.
어떤 치료법도 없이 10년이 넘게 보낸후 난 미칠듯이 기뻤지. 정말 대단했어.
스킨캡을 더이상 안발른후에도 리바운드나 부작용은 없었어.
거의 4년간 스킨캡없이 살고 있지만 몇몇 반점들은 여전히 없어진 상태야.
한쪽 무릎에 있는 반점은 6개월전에 다시 생겼지만.
효과가 있었던 또다른 유일한 것은 콜타르와 자외선 치료뿐이었어..
플로리다로 이사갔더니 정말 좋아졌어.
은퇴한것도 도움이 됐고..
난 스킨캡 알바가 아니야.
What makes you think that your opinion is the only valid one and that
someone who interprets the facts differently from you is a 'bad guy'. If P
is related to stress/nervousness and you react in your life consistently -
like the way you do in your message quoted above - then it's no wonder you
have it so bad. Just relax ... it helps.

I got bent out of shape because the guy was promoting SkinCap as if it was
totally harmless, and he had the gall to say that anyone who had anything to
say about SkinCap was just raving with paranoia. But forget the fact that
the FDA banned it in the U.S. for very good reasons. I'm glad you didn't
seem to have any bad effects from that stuff. Hopefully there's no
accumulated internal damage from any of the steroids that might have been
absorbed into your system. Some people were not so lucky to avoid that, and
thus the many lawsuits against Catalysis. I personally don't react so
heatedly to everything in my life, and as for those quotes of mine above
which have been taken out of context--each of those lines were responses to
specific things the other said. Believe me or don't, but 99% of the time I'm
quite calm. I just get ticked off when people knowingly push products that
are proven to be harmful all so they can make a buck.

There were also OTHER unidentified ingredients in SC that were never disclosed
or identified. Only the one contamining steroid was definitively identified,
which was enough to get it banned in many countries, but there were other
things in there as well that apparently we will never know for sure.
아직도 스킨캡에는 알려지지 않은 성분이 있죠. 오로지 스테로이드만 밝혀졌고 그것으로 많은 나라에서 금지되었죠.
하지만 확실히 다른 무언가가 있어요.
Just because ONE person did not suffer permanent damage apparently does NOT
mean that there were not others who were damaged and who were not informed of
any potential for damage prior to use of this product.
단지 한사람이 스킨캡 부작용이 없다는 것이 다른 이들도 그렇다고 보장할 순 없는거죠.
There were no warnings, not even to keep it away from children or to minimize
use. A person with minimal psoriasis who only used a little bit would probably
be less likely to suffer damage, but who knows how it may have been used by
others?
경고문도 없었죠. 아이들이 만지지 말라고 한다거나 혹은 사용량을 최소한으로 하라는 정도의 경고조차도요.
아마도 스킨캡을 조금만 사용한 경증 건선환자들은 그 피해도 적을거예요. 하지만 다른 이들은 어떻게 될까요?
This company's unethical and illegal distribution and sale of this product was
and is unjustifiable. The history of this product speaks for itself. I would
never trust this manufacturer again.
이 제조사의 비윤리적이고 불법적인 판매는 변명의 여지가 없는거죠.
이 제품의 과거가 스스로 명백해지고 있죠.
결코 이 제조사를 다신 믿지 않을거예요.
The fact that the "clones" of the ingredients controlled by prescription are
not as effective as the original is proof that there was something more in that
original stuff that we still do not know about.
나중에 나온 짝퉁의 효과가 그 전 것만 같지 못하다는 사실이 바로 원래 오리지날에 뭔가가 더 있었다는 증거죠.
